Inner Practice: What If
In and out.
Here with my breath.
In.
Out.
I forgot about the laundry just now. Got to do it later.
What if I still forgot later?
What if I do not have the right clothes for tomorrow?
I need to make a note of this later.
Wait. That woman said something that really infuriated me this afternoon. How could she?! Who did she think she is?
People these days are simply out of their mind.
Argh my knee hurts.
Bad knees. Got to fix an appointment soon.
What if they say I need a surgery?
What if I need to be in a wheelchair?
What if I cannot play the sports I love again?
What if my friends forget about me?
What if I die on the surgery table?
What if I survive but crippled?
Who do I rely on?
What if no one cares about me?
What if I die alone?
What if I go hell?
Oh my gosh!
What if I go to heaven? How will heaven be like? Will I be free and happy finally?
What if…
What if….
In.
Out.
In and out.
Nothing beyond.
Nothing behind.
No need for what ifs.
In and out.
I am just here.
Where are you?
